ODESSA, DELAWARE (12/1/2014) A 49-year-old man was critically injured this afternoon when his motorcycle went off Taylor’s Bridge Road (State Route 9) on a curve and struck a tree southeast of Odessa, state police said.
Jeffrey A. Garber, of Townsend, was driving a 2003 Harley Davidson in the 100 block when the accident happened about 1 p.m.
Police said Garber was westbound and was ejected from the bike. He was not wearing a helmet.
Garber was taken by state police helicopter to Christiana Hospital, where he was admitted.
Troopers cited him with several traffic offenses including careless driving and driving with a suspended license.
