WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (11/29/2014) A 15-year-old Wilmington boy who told police he had been shot by another person at 28th and Washington streets has been charged with filing a false report.
The teen shot himself in the left thigh on Sunday, police said today. He was taken to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.
The boy is now in police custody. He also was charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited.
