MILFORD, DELAWARE (6/17/2015) Two men have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store on Causey Avenue, Milford police said today.
The robbery happened June 7 at the Milford Mobil store.
Police said Timothy Jarvis, 19 and Dwan Jarvis, 19, were both charged with robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, wearing a disguise, conspiracy and resisting arrest.
Timothy Jarvis was also charged with tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Detective Dwight Young said both men were wearing bandannas when they entered the store, displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. After the clerk handed over cash, the pair fled on foot, Young said.
Timothy Jarvis was captured by police a short time later on a nearby street.
On June 10, Dwan Jarvis was captured in the same area.
Dwan is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $111,000 secured bond. Timothy is being held at the same prison in lieu of $89,350 cash bond.
