MILLTOWN, DELAWARE (4/23/2015) A 45-year-old Milltown man was arrested on drug charges by Elsmere police.

Ronald Jochen, of the 3800 block of Frances Ave. in Dunlinden Acres, was pulled over for a traffic violation Wednesday in the area of Duncan Road and Kirkwood Highway, police said.

Officers saw packaged heroin on the passenger seat and took Jochen into custody, Police Chief Laura Giles said.

A search of the vehicle turned up 529 bags of heroin with a street value of $1,200 and several pills, she said.

Officers then searched Jochen’s home and found 7.9 grams of marijuana, 20 hydrochloride pills, and 16.5 Dilaudid pills, Giles said.

Jochen was charged with the highest tier level for the possession of heroin, possession with intent to deliver heroin and related counts.

He was being held in Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington in lieu of $24,000 secured bond.
