GEORGETOWN, DELAWARE (4/20/2015) A 66-year-old Georgetown man has been charged with selling alcoholic beverages without a license, authorities announced today.
Johnny Gibbs, of 323 S. Railroad Ave., was arrested after Division of Alcohol & Tobacco Enforcement agents made multiple purchases from his home.
Agents searched the home Friday and seized various brands of beer and other alcoholic beverages along with $1,460 in cash, authorities said. The agents also found an EBT food stamp card in his possession that did not belong to him.
Gibbs was charged with selling alcohol without a license, illegal storage of alcohol with intent to sell and unauthorized possession of EBT card. He was released on $3,000 unsecured bond.
