The Delaware Air National Guard was conducting a C-130H formation flight today that was billed as the largest formation flown by the 166th Airlift Wing since its departure for Southwest Asia supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom in March, 2003, with eight aircraft taking off one after the other. This formation flight, consisting of low-level flying routes and several airdrops, was intended to train over 40 aircrew members and countless maintenance and ground support personnel. (Photo: DFN)
