HARRINGTON, DELAWARE (12/30/2014) A caseworker with the Delaware Division of Family ServicesĀ is accused of using his position to extort sexual acts from a woman, Harrington police say.

Gregory J. Bunkley, 52, of Dover, surrendered to police today after an arrest warrant was issued.

Police said Bunkley came under investigation in August when a woman reported she was intimidated and coerced into performing sexual acts on Bunkley.

“The victim was in fear that if she did not, that Mr. Bunkley would use the authority from his position with the Division of Family Services to take her children away from her,” police said.

Bunkley was charged with felony sexual extortion and misdemeanor official misconduct.

He was being held at Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $7,000 secured bond.

Saying the investigation is ongoing, Detective Sgt. Adam Gillespie asked anyone with information to call 302-398-4493.
