UPDATED STORY: Smyrna police arrest suspect in Valero robbery

SMYRNA, DELAWARE (12/29/2014) A man robbed a Valero gas station in Smyrna early today, town police said, and the public’s help is sought in identifying and locating the bandit.

The robbery happened about 12: 45 a.m. at 313 N. DuPont Blvd. (U.S. 13).

The robber was about 5-feet-11, with blonde hair, possible facial hair and wearing work boots, green convertible cargo pants, tan jacket and a dark hooded sweatshirt pulled over his face.

He demanded money from a female employee and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, Cpl. Brandon Dunning said.
