YORKLYN, DELAWARE (12/21/2014) Numerous horses died this evening when fire swept through a horse barn at the Yorklyn Arabian farm.
The fire was reported about 8:20 p.m. in the 300 block of Gun Club Road.
The barn was at the end of a long single-lane road and firefighters had to truck in water to fight the blaze.
The owner was on the scene but did not know the exact number of horses lost in the blaze.
