DOVER, DELAWARE (12/18/2014) A 21-year-old Dover man was charged Wednesday after a domestic-related burglary,  city police said today.

The incident happened about 11 a.m. at the Autumn Run apartment complex at 255 Webbs Lane.

An investigation found Darnell Fullman had entered a woman’s apartment through an unsecured window, then grabbed her by her hair, police said.

She was able to escape to another room but Fullman kicked the door open, damaging it, and grabbed her by the arm while she was holding her 3-month-old daughter, police said.

This caused the woman to drop the baby.

Fullman fled, police said, knocking over and breaking a television and table, police said.

He was arrested nearby in the complex.

Police said Pullman possessed .45 grams of heroin when he was arrested.

He also was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal mischief  and offensive touching. Fullman was being held at Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $10,000 secured bond.
