TOWNSEND, DELAWARE (12/1/2015) Two brothers were arrested on drug charges at their home near Townsend after an investigation into drug sales, Delaware State Police said this afternoon.
Bruce W. Lomax, 36, and Bobby Lomax, 27, were arrested about 11:45 p.m. Monday in the 6000 block of Summit Bridge Road (Route 71).
Bruce Lomax had previously been sentenced to home confinement, police said.
A search of a Dodge Durango SUV and the home by troopers and probation officers found 745 bags of heroin weighing 11.175 grams, a .22 caliber rifle and more than $600 in suspected drug proceeds, police said.
Police said the gun belonged to Bobby Lomax, who they said also possessed .7 grams of marijuana.
Bruce Lomax was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a tier 5 quantity (heroin), possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Secured bail was set at $40,500.
Bobby Lomax was charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Secured bail was set at $3,500.
They were both being held at Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna.
