NEWARK, DELAWARE (11/25/2015) A 33-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint today when he met someone to buy video games in the parking lot of the Newark Shopping Center, city police said.
The robbery at 230 E. Main St. happened about 12:30 p.m.
As the victim approached the vehicle he was meeting with, one of the two people inside showed a handgun and demanded the 33-year-old empty his pockets, Sgt. Gerald Bryda said.
The two in the vehicle then stole cash and other items from the man.
The two male robbers fled in a dark sedan.
One is described as white, 5-feet-11, weighing 165 pounds and with brown hair. The other, who had the gun, is black and was wearing a blue and yellow sweater.
