HARTLY, DELAWARE (11/25/2015) A 15-year-old boy was covered with a blanket during a home invasion near Hartly, the Delaware State Police said today.

The robbery happened about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Pearsons Corner Road.

When the teen answered a knock on the front door, a male with a handgun ordered him to the floor.

As the teen saw a second person enter the home and go to his bedroom, the first intruder put a blanket over his head, police said.

After the two intruders left, the teen called police. He was not injured.

Police said the only things taken were the 15-year-old’s computer and a cellphone.

Detectives believe the home invasion was not a random act and the boy may have been targeted.

The gunman was described as black and wearing a black mask, jean jacket and gloves. Police had no description of the second intruder.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective M. Csapo at 302-698-8427.
