DOVER, DELAWARE (8/31/2015) A 25-year-old man shot at the Alder Park Apartments complex near Dover was flown from Bayhealth Kent General Hospital to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, Delaware State Police said today.
The shooting happened about 11 p.m. Friday at the complex off Webbs Lane.
When troopers first responded, no victim was found and witnesses offered no information. Within five minutes, police said, the man shot was dropped off at Bayhealth Kent General in Dover with gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
Police said he had been shot while standing outside the “G” and “H” buildings at the complex. He was taken to the hospital in a friend’s car.
Police said today they had no information on his condition.
