GLASGOW, DELAWARE (6/11/2017) A Wawa convenience store in Glasgow was robbed early today, the Delaware State Police said.
The robbery at 2754 Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40) happened shortly after 1 a.m.
Police said the masked, female robber confronted a male employee at the sales counter and demanded money.
He turned over an undisclosed amount of cash and she fled in a light-colored car parked at the side of the building. The car headed east on U.S. 40.
Police said no weapon was shown and the clerk wasn’t injured.
The robber was described as about 5-feet-1 and 150-160 pounds. She was wearing dark clothing
