MILFORD CROSSROADS, DELAWARE (6/15/2016) A 39-year-old woman was seriously injured when her car struck a tree on Tuesday, authorities said.
The crash happened about 4:50 p.m. in the 200 block of Possum Park Road (Route 72).
The woman, who was the only occupant of the car, was treated for a leg injury and possible medical emergency, then taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, said Time Abigail E. Haas of New Castle County paramedics. She was in serious but stable condition.
The crash is under investigation by Delaware State Police.
