DOVER, DELAWARE (6/2/2016) A 29-year-old man was arrested after shooting a woman’s vehicle five times during a domestic dispute, Dover police said this morning.
The incident was reported at 6:46 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of S. Bradford St.
A 34-year-old woman told police she and Jason Scott, of the 900 block of Butterpat Road near Hartly, were having an argument when she left in her own vehicle and went to a friend’s home, Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.
Scott followed her and attempted to enter the home, Hoffman said, then left and shot her vehicle and fled.
Police later arrested Scott at his home without incident.
He was charged with possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, two counts of aggravated menacing, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child.
