DELAWARE (12/25/2015) DelDOT has lowered the speed limit on Interstate 495 as dense fog continues across the state on Christmas morning.
The speed limit was dropped from 65 to 55 mph.
The National Weather Service issued a dense-fog advisory until 10 a.m. today, with visibility down to a quarter mile expected.
Showers are likely this afternoon, the weather service predicts, with a high temperature about 70 degrees. Warm temperatures will continue through the weekend, with showers likely Saturday and a chance of showers on Sunday.
