ELSMERE, DELAWARE (11/30/2015) Firefighters freed a man trapped for 35 minutes early today in an overturned car west of Elsmere, authorities said.
The accident was reported at 12:19 a.m. in the 1000 block of Centerville Road.
The vehicle was on its side with the roof against a chain link fence, said Sgt. Michael A. McColley of New Castle County paramedics.
After firefighters from Belvedere and Cranston Heights freed the man, he was assessed by paramedics and taken to Christiana Hospital in Stanton for further evaluation, McColley said.
