TOWNSEND, DELAWARE (10/14/2015) The driver of a farm tractor who was severely burned after colliding with a motorcycle on Route 9 has died of his injuries, Delaware State Police reported this morning.
Wills Passmore, 88, was injured when his tractor was engulfed in flames after the collision near his home on Route 9 east of Townsend on Monday. He was pronounced dead at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday.
The motorcyclist, Timothy V. Giffing, 33, of Wilmington, was pronounced dead at the scene.
