UPDATED STORY: Suspect in stabbing arrested

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (10/12/2015) New Castle County police say they have identified a suspect in the stabbing of a 57-year-old man Sunday night at the Maryland Park Apartments near Wilmington.

The incident happened about 9:45 p.m. in a parking lot in the 700 block of Robinson Court.

The victim, who was semi-conscious, was treated at the scene for a wound to the upper torso by New Castle County paramedics, then taken by Five Points Fire Company ambulance to Christiana Hospital. He was in critical condition, Jackson said.

Police have a warrant for Joselito Rojas, 36, who lives in the complex, said Officer First Class Tom Jackson, a police spokesman.

Rojas was described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, about 5-feet-7 and 140 pounds. Jackson said he is believed to be in the area and still have the knife used in the stabbing.
