STANTON, DELAWARE (10/6/2015) An AutoZone store in Stanton was robbed at gunpoint, Delaware State Police reported Monday.
The robbery happened about 7:45 p.m. Sunday at 4602 Kirkwood Highway.
Two masked robbers confronted two employees and ordered them to open the safe. They complied and turned over cash. No one was injured.
Both robbers were described as black males. One, armed with a handgun, was 5-feet-10 and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweat pants. The other was 6-feet tall and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
Police asked anyone with information to call troopers at 302-365-8566.
