Georgetown man pleads guilty to illegal hunting

GEORGETOWN, DELAWARE (4/1/2015) A Georgetown resident has pleaded guilty to illegal deer hunting charges after a trail camera showed a man hunting with a rifle on private property in December, state fish and wildlife officials announced today.

David M. Naumann, 42, pleaded guilty to six of the 10 charges he faced in Justice of the Peace Court in Georgetown.

Division of Fish & Wildlife enforcement officers arrested Naumann on March 31.

He was fined $1,113 and lost his hunting license for two years.
