2 sought in Bear gas station robbery

BEAR, DELAWARE (1/18/2015) A BP gas station in Bear was robbed at knifepoint, state police report, with two masked bandits fleeing with cash.

The crime occurred about 4:20 p.m. Thursday at 1923 Pulaski Highway (Route 40).

Master Cpl. Jeffrey Hale said the pair, one armed with a knife, confronted a 41-year-old male clerk, who complied with their demands for money. The worker was not hurt.

Hale said the robber with the knife was 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-8 and 200-215 pounds. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and dark sneakers.

The second robber was 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-7 and 130-135 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
