NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (1/10/2015) A masked gunman robbed a 7-Eleven store near New Castle late Friday, state police said today.
The robbery at 284 Christiana Road (Route 273) happened about 11:30 p.m.
The robber fled with cash after confronting a 37-year-old woman working at the store.
He was last seen running toward the Georgetown Manor Apartments.
The clerk was not injured.
The robber was described as 5-feet-8 to 6 feet tall and 180-200 pounds. He was wearing a light colored shirt beneat a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and black sneakers.
