Tips sought on ID theft suspect

DOVER, DELAWARE (12/31/2014) State police are asking for tips from the public to locate a woman in an identity theft case.

A 35-year-old New York woman told police earlier this month that someone had opened department store credit cards in her name in Kent County, and items totaling thousands of dollars were charged to them.

Police released surveillance images of the suspect Monday and said she has a thin build, was wearing black yoga pants with brown boots, a black jacket and a red purse. She may be driving a dark 4-door sport style vehicle.
