CHRISTIANA, DELAWARE (12/25/2014) A fire this afternoon at the Cavalier Country Club Apartments was caused by a faulty electric receptacle, authorities said.
The fire in the 3800 block of Golfview Drive broke out in a bedroom about 1:30 p.m., said Michael Chionchio, assistant state fire marshal.
Christiana firefighters responded to extinguish the fire.
Investigators ruled the cause accidental.
Damage was estimated at $5,000.
No injuries were reported.
