WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (12/5/2014) Four teenagers used a paintball gun in an attempt to rob three people at Eighth and North Franklin streets, city police said.
The four teens — boys 13, 14 and 16 years old and a 15-year-old girl — approached the three about 5:10 p.m. Wednesday and demanded their property, but fled without getting anything.
Officers soon located the four teens and took them in custody without incident. The paint gun resembling a replica handgun was found in the area they were arrested, police said.
All four were charged with attempted robbery and were being held at the New Castle County Detention Center in lieu of $33,000 cash bail.
