NEW CASTLE COUNTY, DELAWARE (11/21/2014) A 45-year-old man was arrested on drug charges after neighbors complained to county police about a loud radio.
The arrest came about 12:30 a.m. Thursday at the Castlebrook Apartments, in the 500 block of S. DuPont Highway (U.S. 13).
When officers arrived, police said, John Hardy allowed them to enter his apartment where they said they spotted marijuana in plain view.
Police said a warrant was obtained and a search uncovered 200 grams of marijuana, two digital scales and drug paraphernalia as well as $583 cash.
Hardy was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance,
possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was being held at Young Correctional Institution in Wilmingtin in lieu of $10,000 secured bail, police said.
