Police identify suspect in 4 armed robberies

UPDATED STORY: Suspect in 4 armed robberies arrested

REHOBOTH BEACH, DELAWARE (11/10/2017) Delaware State Police say a suspect has been identified in four recent armed robberies at businesses in Sussex County.

Cody B. Reeves, 24, of Rehoboth Beach, is sought on four counts of first-degree robbery and related charges.

Police said he is believed to be driving a silver 2004 Mazda 6, with Delaware tag 145356.

The first robbery happened Nov. 3 at a Valero Gas Station, 25576 Deep Branch Road, along Route 1 near Milton. 

The second happened Sunday at Cigar & Cigarette World, 18701 Coastal Highway (Route 1), near Rehoboth Beach.

The next happened Monday at a Valero Gas Station located, 20880 Coastal Highway (Route 1), near Rehoboth Beach.

The fourth happened Tuesday at Shell Food Mart (formerly Dash-In), 24851 John J. Williams Highway, near Long Neck.

The robber used a knife or other sharp instrument in each incident to confront an employee and escaped with cash from the business, police said.
