Pets for adoption arrive in Delaware

NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (6/11/2017) About 200 small dogs, puppies and kittens destined for adoption arrived at New Castle Airport on Saturday after a flight from California and Arizona.

The animals from overcrowded shelters will be offered for adoption by the Brandywine Valley SPCA on June 17-18. The Mega Adoption Event will be held at Bellevue State Park, with more than 1,000 adoptable animals available.

All pets will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to go home the same day. Admission is free, and the adoption fee is $20. More info: www.megaadopt.com.
