NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (2/9/2016) A robber escaped with cash from a TD Bank branch near New Castle this afternoon, Delaware State Police said.
The robbery at 82 Christiana Road (Route 273) was reported at 12:37 p.m.
The man presented a note demanding cash to a teller, and she complied. The note implied the man had a gun but none was shown.
No one in the bank was injured.
The robber was described as black, 30-35 years old, 5-feet-9 to 6 feet and about 150 pounds. He was wearing a dark ski cap, dark puffy coat, dark hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and dark and white shoes.
