DELAWARE CITY, DELAWARE (10/18/2018) A crash has closed Route 1 in both directions near Delaware City.
Delaware State Police and DelDOT reported the crash at 6:56 a.m. just south of the Route 72 interchange.
Emergency crews remained on the scene at 7:20 a.m.
Some southbound traffic was getting by the crash.
