DELAWARE (4/16/2018) Heavy rains, totaling more than 2 inches at spots across the state, closed several roads today.
At least one motorist was rescued from a vehicle stranded in floodwaters.
That happened on Airport Road, at Nonesuch Creek just east of Interstate 95. Firefighters used an inflatable raft to bring the driver to high ground.
