NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (4/14/2018) The driver of a truck was seriously injured in a crash near New Castle this morning, according to reports from the scene.
The crash happened about 8 a.m. on the northbound Interstate 295 ramp to southbound New Castle Avenue (Route 9).
It took rescue crews about 90 minutes to extricate the driver, who suffered a serious arm injury and other injuries.
