
BEAR, DELAWARE (10/3/2016) A 44-year-old man was wounded in a shooting during a home invasion in Bear this morning, New Castle County police said.
The crime happened about 6:10 a.m. in the first block of Gogh Circle in the Taylortowne community.
The victim told police two people entered the home, stole items and shot him.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries police said were not life-threatening.
Suspected explosive materials were found in the home and a police explosives team to render them safe.
