DOVER, DELAWARE (6/15/2016) A Dover man has been charged with raping a young girl over several years, city police said today.
Roberto Escobar-Arcos, 39, was arrested at his workplace Tuesday and is being held at Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna in lieu of $140,000 secured bond.
He is charged with first-degree rape, continuous sexual abuse of a child, sexual abuse by a person of trust and four counts of unlawful sexual contact.
Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said the 14-year-old victim reported the abuse began when the she was eight years old.
