DELAWARE CITY, DELAWARE (6/15/2016) A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today to mark the opening of the Delaware City Branch Canal Trail, which connects the town with the Michael Castle Trail along the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal.
Access to the new trail, which is on the west side of the branch canal, is along Route 9 in Delaware City.
The multi-use trail is open for walkers, runners and bicyclists.
