
TALLEYVILLE, DELAWARE (5/28/2016) A 20-year-old man was injured when his bicycle was struck by a vehicle in Talleyville on Friday, authorities said.
The incident happened about 5:10 p.m. in the 3200 block of Concord Pike (U.S. 202).
New Castle County paramedics treated the man for a “distal extremity injury,” said Cpl. David J. McKinney Jr.
He was flown to Christiana Hospital in Stanton by a Delaware State Police helicopter.
McKinney said the man was in stable condition.
State police are investigating the crash.
