NEWARK, DELAWARE (5/7/2016) An Interstate 95 ramp south of Newark will be closed at night next week for bridge repairs, the Delaware Department of Transportation announced Friday.
Exit 1B, from southbound I-95 to northbound Route 896 at the bridge over the Christina River, will be closed from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. Monday through Thursday.
DelDOT’s detour is via westbound Route 273 to westbound Route 4, or via Exit 1A for southbound Route 896, making a U-turn at Old Baltimore Pike.
Weather could force postponement of the work.
